My work is a process through which I connect to the world. I make collage & mosaics which can encompass many different materials from paper to found items. I use photography to record nature and change in my own life and locally and to reflect and celebrate the miraculous in the everyday.                                                                                                                                                                     I am fascinated by geometric patterns in nature and cycles of decay and regeneration which mirror the patterns and rhythms of our bodies and the earth.

I am concerned about the environmental crisis facing the planet and have been inspired by the work of Suzi Gablik whose vision of a new paradigm for art as a vehicle for social change has provided some direction and motivation for my art.
