“The Chair Dialogue” series, started in 2007, record and explore ideas in different and strange worlds where anything can happen and frequently does. The drawings are made using watercolour and pencil on paper.

The drawings “Angelwing Chair” (2007) and “Moving the Stain” (2008) were selected for The Jerwood Drawing Prize in 2007 & 2008 respectively.

Lucy has shown her work in the Oriel Mostyn Open (1997), ArtSway, New Forest (2003), Gloucester Cathedral (2004), Bristol Central Library (2005), Jerwood Café Space, London (2005) and ArtSpace, Southwell, Nottingham (2008).

She will be showing “Hives” as part of Celebrating Paper, at the Royal West of England Academy, Bristol, January 2010, curated by Peter Ford.
