Mivart Artists Awards 2009

FABRICATED: (adj) formed or conceived by the imagination, to invent or concoct, construct or manufacture, fictitious or fancied.

2009 sees Mivart Artists Open Studios hosting FABRICATED, a selected site-responsive exhibition throughout the building, from Mivart Artists including two new commissions:

‘Make’ a short film by Sally Reay, soundtrack by Keef Chemistry and funded by The Mivart Award and a new film-installation by MivArtist 2009 winner Mel Shearsmith.

A special thanks goes out to the selection panel, ‘artists supporting artists’: Yvonne Buchheim, Chuck Elliot, Penny Jones and our Mivart mentor funded by ALIAS, Louise Short for their time and support.
