Fabricated: Mivart Artists Open Studios 2009A weekend that celebrated the process of creativity with more than thirty mivart artists, maker and designers, showing original paintings, limited edition prints, public art, ceramics, glass, enamels, sculpture and jewellery, as well as performance, workshops and a selected exhibition in the open spaces:
FABRICATED: (adj) formed or conceived by the imagination, to invent or concoct, construct or manufacture, fictitious or fancied. A selected site-responsive exhibition took place throughout the building and included two new award-winning commissions:
The MivArtist 2009 winner Mel Shearsmith premiered a new film-installation in the aikido space, funded by Mivart Studios.
